Alaskan Malamute - Bob - Large - Adult - Male - Dog
Bob is an awesome dog! He is an adult malamute mix, male. He is a bit nervous in the shelter environment (new sounds, smells, sights). Once he's comfortable he smiles, prances around and enjoys being petted.
For his size, he walks pretty well on the leash and likes to run around and play in the outdoor dog-run. He's a big goofy boy!
He seems to be forward when meeting a new dog (though it is common in the malamute breed to be self-confident when meeting new dogs) but he doesn't seem to be aggressive. A meet and greet will be required if an adopter has dogs.
He can also be cat tested if an adopter has cats.
Due to his thick coat, Bob will need regular brushing and will shed his coat seasonally (lots of fur). The shelter is open for adoptions 7 days a week from noon to 4:30. Adopted dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella and licensed in Lackawanna County.
